| While out on a trip with guest I was having a hard time finding anything that would open its mouth. No Bass, no sandies, no hybrids so after running up in the river in the north end of the lake I noticed comorants and gulls roosting in the trees in the middle of the lake. Most of the water north of hwy 66 is around 7 to 8 feet once you pass the golf course. If you will pull under the tree run the birds off and drop down some catfish charlie dip bait you will catch some catfish. It's nice to be able to have something to go to when the fish wont open their mouths for you. I know that couple that paid me to take them fishing wanted to catch something. THanks God for the Birds and the Catfish. Check out Outlawadventurestx.com and by the way take your mom fishing sometimes mine loves it. |
