| If you are a serious Crappie fisherman or women then you know now is the time to gather those X-mas trees up, get some concrete blocks and get to sinking them. I dont fish for crappie much but everyonce in a while I have clients that want to go crappie catchin. For about the last 4 years I have been putting X-mas trees, brush, patio furniture, ect. in the same spot. It has really produced some some nice fish. Remember when your fishin for carppie if you are not fishing where you can get hung up on something you are not fishing where the fish are. Good Luck OutlawAdventuresTx.com |

If someone were to make their own brush pile, what would be a good depth to sink the brush in?
Should it be located near other structures?

| If you have a place that you catch fish at, anywhere around it is good. Otherwise a creek channel or a point are excellent places. I have mine in about 25' of water I have a couple more for summer time bass in about 14' of water. I prefer deeper water for crappie. |

You seriously dump patio furniture in the lake? Trees and brush I can understand, but patio furniture?

| I've been reading that bamboo makes a real good crappie attractor. Put a bunch of bamboo shoots in a bucket of cement & sink it in a strategic place. Might be worth a try sometime. |

Have you ever read anything or watched any professional angler talk about putting STRUCTURE in areas of the lake that procuce not only BIG Trophy Fish, but catchin thier limit as well?? I dont put anything in the lake that has any kind of chemical on it such as paint or treated wood. Go to Lake Bob Sandlin hire a guide or just go try to find the piles of old t.v.s and all the sunken, NOW STRUCTURE, washer and dryers ect.
Structure is Structure, as long as it does not harm the enviorment or polute the place I love to be at the most, any mudhole or huge resevoir where ever I can go catchin not fishin outlawfishingguide@hotmail.com
