Hey guy's. I'm taking my Dad fishing this Saturday and wanted to know where the best place to fish from the shore/dock would be. We don't have a boat, but would like to get a few bites on Saturday morning. My Dad has had a rough go at it this last year and I thought this would be a good thing to get his mind off of things for a while.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Dad and I ended up fishing at the Marina at I-30 and Ridge Rd. We caught 3 crappie, about 1 lb each. Had fun drowning some minnows though. BTW, I know I'm knew at this board, but it would have been nice to receive a reply on my initial post. Maybe next time.

thetrees, keep it up . It can get slow over here from time to time....then it will get real busy. Also look in the past posts, quite a few similar questions. Hope that helps.
