Last weekend we ran across several spots the sandies were boiling early in the morning out on the other side of Miller Rd. We threw everything we had at them and caught nothing between the three of us. I have usually found that where the fish are boiling the big boys are under them catching the trash. This wasn't the case. I could sure use a few good tips.

We were out sun. 24 and marked a few fish here and there but there was no huge numbers at any one location. I saw on the TFF where Redfin, J.V. and another gentleman did pretty good sunday morning. I can't wait until this rain and wind gives us a break for a soild month or so.

About a month ago we fished along the eastern bank and found some sandies boiling, it was layered just that; shad, sandies, and hybrids on the bottom. Just watch for the birds diving from the air into the water and you'll find a great spot to fish. Use a top lure or shallow lure for the sandies, or hook a nice heavy weight and a shad to the hook and drop her to the bottom to find the Hybrids. Worked like a champ for us!

That's my 2 cents, spend them wisely... Razz
