| We have been catching plenty of sand bass in the mornings. THey have been schooling around the damn and around I-30 under underpass. During the evenings we have been catching some really nice crappie using minnows. THe bass fishing has been tuff butdid catch some really good fish on spinnerbaits at night. With one flood gate still open the bass fishing is pretty tuff up the river right now and the grass is pretty thick along the edges. Catfish? THey are still and always ready to bite. You want to go catchin just let me know. outlawfishingguide@hotmail.com or you can reach me at 469-396-0558 Thanks, Morris Alder |

Tracy if you go south towards the dam on the east side of the lake look for the birds flying around. When you find the birds you will find the fish. Today we caught over75 sand bass. Thats not counting the 15 or so Hybrids. Slabs worked well but I wore out a crank bait or two as well. If you would like for me to show you and your wife how to go catchin instead of fishin we could do half day trip (nice b-day present huh?) You can cast me a email to outlawfishingguide@hotmail.com. I could also take you up to the north end of Ray Hubbard and show you some beautiful scenery and still have time for you two to catch some fish.
THe next couple of months will be the time to do a lot of catchin. With the tropical storms rolling up from the south it should make the sand bass and hybrids go nuts. Look forward to hearing from you.

Saturday I had 4 colledge students out on a trip and they all caught a blue cat over 10lbs. The biggest 32lbs all on cut bait. Want to know where and how to catch those big blues???? Outlawfishingguide@hotmail.com
