| I caught 10 crappie today under the east i-30 bridges this am. only 2 keepers though, 11&13 inch i let them go . They were caught in 20ft water 6-8 cranks up. |

Hi
Was it you that had the evinrude ejrese Jr 3hp?
I picked one up yesterday - no manual. Wont start.
What are those to adjusment screws on the front.
Any help will be appreciated.

| yeah, i cant remember which one was which, i sold it a while ago. i do remember having to mess with the bottom screw. I would have to choke it and screw it out a 1/4 turn at a time, but once i got it adjusted it was pretty easy to start up. Oh yeah pull the plug and make sure you are getting spark. |

One other question. The large control on the front of the engine. Decals are almost wore off. I do see a stop on the left side and the control lever slid are is quite large. Is that the throttle?
Spark looks good - checked it last night.

| if it is what i am thinking then yes it is the throttle. When you do get it started be ready to go since it has no neutral. good motor though. |

I think I'll strap on my old electric motor and do some large mouth fishing.
I'll work on the gas motor tonight.
