| My biggest Largemouth Bass out of Ray Hubbard this year just so happened to be the last Sunday of 2007. At 6:50 pm Sunday night I was pitchin a Black and Blue Rattlin Jig with a Red power worm in about 5' of water. That very slight peck, bump, peck was just enough for me to set the hook. IT was dark and I was by myself and was really surprised when I reach down to grab the lip. She is the biggest I have ever caught out of Ray Hubbard topping the scales and just under 10lbs. I have pictures that will be posted on my web site just as soon as possiable. It goes to show never think it is too cold or to late to go fishin. It seems that all the really big fish that I have caught over the years have all been caught in really cold weather. You may not get but one bite but that bite will be a good one in most cases. Oh and by the way she is still out there she splashed water in my face when I let her go. Check out OutlawAdventuresTx.com. Lake Ray Hubbard is a great bass lake you just have to give it a chance and be patient. |
