I like to work the riprap along 30 with a lightly weighted tiki stick. I'd like to start working it with some crank baits to see if that works a little better.

I like the rocks too But I think that rip rap is probably my go to spot in the evenings in summer and early morning. BUT any rip rap that has been pounded by wind for anytime will always produce something. What is a tiki stick by the way? It seems like I have heard of it but cant remember what it is. I guess one of my favorite is Dalrock Point (Robert Elgin Park) and the rip rap by the power plant. Especially there where it drop off into deeper water. But that is another summer spot now that I think of it. Maybe I should go try and see how it is in winter months.

A tiki stick is Wave industries version of the senko. I have decent luck in summer with Watermelon/red but haven't had much lately. A friend told me that the best color for Hubbard is tequila sunrise. What colors do you use on Hubbard?

I use black and blue a lot but have caught my big bass lately on a red crawl with a slight tint of watermelon. I'll pitch a solid white jig too

I haven't fished Ray Hubbard a whole lot but I will say, just take 4 rods, red 1/2 ounce rattle trap, black/blue jig, single colorado blade, white/ chartruese spinner (slow roll), your favorite shad pattern 10 -15 ft diving crankbait and fish just the same you would in the summer. You can catch bass shallow or deep just like the summer, if you are a good deep structure fisherman, go ahead and tie on a slab or a little george, if you come across a schools of fish stackedup, under the bridge on drop offs, verticle hardwoods etc... go ahead and drop that sucker down there and don't be surprised if you stumble onto think schools of largmouths. i'm not sure if you were looking for this type of info but I hope this helps!

I spend alot of my winter time around the rip rap of course. I crank a rat-l-trap slowly at a little lower depth. I get reaction strikes when its bouncing off the rocks.
