Starting here soon the sandbass should be on in rowlett creek spawning. I went there yesterday in the a.m. and caught nothing, but a couple of people had a couple each. I believe right now they are biting best on minnows.

Try this link fire wheel parkway is the same as rowlett road.click on aerial image and you will see the green belt and the creek. In the middle you will see the creek. you can park on the south side right before you get to the bridge. Oh yeah if you are comming from rowlett you will have to go over the bridge and make a u turn to get to the parking.

Sounds good. If you want you can also look on http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php . There are thousands of people on there and may be able to answer questions on boat fishing.

If you will look at your depth finder in the areas where you seen the birds last year you might be surprised. Any where there is a change in depth such as at the end of the rip rap by the power plant. You gotta spend the gass or hire a guide.
