I have never seen many boats tied up under any of Hubbards bridges. I wonder why this is? Do any of you ever fish under the bridges. I usually have good luck with crappie and sandies this time of year.

I fish the bridges occasionally and usually never get skunked, we usually catch sandies, a few crappie (most small) and catfish. Most bridges are over fished anyway, and secondly as on most lakes all the skiers and seadooers are around the bridges and I try to avoid them the the plague. Smile

Randy in the next few weeks the fish will be strting to spawn in coves, creeks, cattails etc. I always start about right now and fish the north end of the lake around the coves (east side of the lake ) by the golf coarse, cattails. And will fish it until the end of March, as the lake warms I move South of 66 and fish coves, points, timber. until the end of April. I use tube jigs BLK/CHART, BLK/HOTPINK, RED/WHITE and of coarse minnows and around the bank edges. If I don't get a bite SOON I'll fish a little deeper until I locate fish. Good Luck and Good Fishing.
