We fished the West bridge over 30 --Tied off to avoid the wind and BAM!!! The first hit buckled a pole under the boat and snapped the line.
The next was a LMB in the 2-3 lbs range. Then they came---we caught about a dozen big sandies, a couple more LMB and two big hybrids. One was probably 5 easy the othe a little smaller but was covered in this acne/disease stuff. He kept the hook and a couple inches of line---I didn't want to touch it. We wrapped up the day with a nice blue cat. It was a good way to burn a few hours on the water. |

My first outing for sand bass was this morning. I bank fished Rowlett Creek with Roadrunners and Sassy Shads (white and chartreuse). Didn't get a nibble.
Any pointers? |

I don't know squat----I get lucky once in a while.
I grew up fishing the riprap--I've only been out in a boat a couple times. |
