OK folks, I'll give ya my report, it's not great but what the heck.
Cattails up north near the river have produced spotty results. 2-3 1 day 4-5 the next and then only one. Minnows under a slip cork have worked better for me than jigs. Maybe due to the stained water?
Anybody else having any luck?
I'll be on vacation next week, gonna do me a little fishing and got me a new gal. Ya'll behave next week, you know this is such a hot bed for trash talkers.
(grin)

| Hey Bigcat, I'm taking Monday and Tuesday off also. Plan on hitting Lavon. Maybe I'll see you there. Hadn't had any luck lately but I have a feeling. |

Slow, is the word.
The bite picked up yesterday a bit, I caught 4. All males, caught in about 1-1/2 feet. When you find them, they are aggresive, but few and far between.
Maybe they'll come out of the river and spawn?

John, what were the water temps?
Saturday up north I was finding 70 deg water, makes me think the spawn may be over up there before it even got started.
