| Yesterday I stopped by the ramp on 66 and saw an older man fishing on a bucket. He was fishing the reeds around the ramp and managed to catch 5 good crappie with minnows using a 10' crappie rod. He said his first bite was when he got there around 9. Said it took him all day to catch those 5, but I don't think he was moving much. I think the back of the creeks are probably about right, unless this cool front slows the bite yet again..... Has anyone checked the past few days? |

| I haven't even fished Hubbard at all this year jsut due to poor conditions to say the least, water levels up and down, fronts with rain, wind as hell conditions but I might give it a try this afternoon before the front. |
