| I went out yesterday from 6-11pm. Caught plenty of shad. I ended up with 10 cats, blues and channels, 1-3lb range. The bigguns were just not bitting. All were caught in 2-4ft deep water |

Thanks for the report Shannon....I have not been out in a while but hopefully I can get some big gizzard shad and make time to get back out there. My last 3 times where unsuccessful but didn't have fresh bait either. I probably hit some ramps friday for some gizzards after work tomorrow about 3 pm. Maybe I can get out there Sunday but have a bunch of things going on and not sure.
Hello jasonthehunted ....thanks for the PM and welcome to the forum.
Yes, occassionally I see you up there at work but I'll be sure to say hello.
If you have any questions on anything just let me know and will be glad to help you out if I can.
I am still learnig myself but of the past year I 've picked up some good info on how to catfish. One of the most important things I learned is to use fresh shad.
Good luck! |
