Crappie definitely are around in lake ray. Me and a buddy caught 34 in 3 hours today it was amazing. We baited 4 poles and they were biting so fast we couldn't pull them up fast enough. The big ones starting biting more towards sun set but it was a great day. We had to stop because we ran out of minnows we went through a half pound.

Which part of the lake were you fishing Travis? Boat or bank? im guessing bank

8 to 10 feet depth with minnows. We were at the marina in Rowlett off of Dalrock. Not the park area but the one on the other side. The north side.

Here was a big one I recently caught from the same place. They weren't biting much then this guy got on the hook!
