Marina Del-Ray, is that the one that sunk in the last hurricane?
Otherwise, I do not remember a Marina Del-Ray on RH. |

I just looked it up on this website
http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat/fish/recreational/lakes/ray_hubbard/access.phtml
The Marina Del Ray is now called Lake Point Marina and it is located on Rowlett Rd. near Bobtown/Roan rd. I saw a while back on a LRH map where its proposed site is. It will be off of Bass Pro Shop road/old Chaha Rd. on the North side of I-30.
I sometimes launch my boat at Lake Point Marina ($6) whenever I am fishing that end of the lake and/or the winds are strong. The Marina has some good ariel maps that they give to people that rent the jet ski's/boats showing how to get around the trees/stumps when heading to the main lake.
Had the day off today and been thinking about doing some crappie fishing today but the winds are 15-20 mph. Seems to be faster than that out there on the lake. So just puttering around trying to do some projects around the house. Might still go. |

| I'm not a regular there, 4 or 5 times, but I have talked to an older (75+ y.o.) gentleman that runs trot lines north of 30 and he has some catfish stories he talks about. Not sure if his name is catfish Murphy or not. |
