I have never fished Hubbard for Crappie Can some one please lead me in the right Direction. I am always on Lavon and I just got my Navionics chip for my gps and would like to give Ole Hubbard a Try. Willing to take someone out on the boat that knows the lake.

The only suggestion I have is to go to this web site and order their video(s) on crappie fishing http://www.northtexasguideservice.com/
I rarely do any crappie fishing but after I ordered Fishing Standing Timber with Paul O'Bier, I went out and caught 12 crappies in about 2-3 hours.
One can use his methods and ideas on any lake you go to.
I mainly fish for the big catfish. Hope this helps.

Try fishing the pillars under I-30, usually you'll catch a few there, also try going up to Miller Road Bridge and fish that cove where the trees are.

Let me know how that works, I have the platinum chip as well, havent used it much since I got it though. I kinda want to know what the crappie look like on the fishfinder, what kind of signature to look for.

I appreciate the advice I did not buy the platinum chip just the southern zone hot maps. I am still trying to figure the sonar aspect out also. My best friend is a bass guide on fork and we graph deep water all the time and he will flat out say we are going to catch them here or we will leave. I try to get him to crappie fish but just cant break him in on it.
