I am a new fisherman to Lake Ray Hubbard and I need some ideas for me to have a successful end to 2005. We are docked at Harbor Bay Marina and have fished the north end of the closest I-30 bridge mostly, with little success. I have found lots of small sand bass, a few small cats but nothing of size and no crappie. I know the power plant and dam is far away, maybe they would be great locations but I would like to speak to people that fish that lake and know where to look. I would like crappie, large catfish, large sand bass in that order. It seems like a very nice marina and lake as a whole, just wish the fish catching matched the level of everything else. Do I sound desperate enough, I can try harder...LOL. I will post this in a couple forums and hope I get some help!
