| Im new to the forum. I have not fished Ray Hubbard in a long time. Have been on Richland Chambers for the last two years, catchin crappie. I was wondering how the fishin is around the power plant discarge, or if they even have it running. Any info would be greatly appreciated. |

| Thats cool Shannon. Thanks for replying anyhow. I was thinkin about movin my pontoon boat out on hubbard because its a little closer to the house. Im just tryin to weigh my options. Hubbard looks like it might have a little more in the way of structure, (rip rap, bridges, wood, weeds, etc.) I hear there are some nice hybrid and sandy fishin on this lake. My bread and butter is crappie however. Guess ill move the boat out here and sample the goods. Happy fishin! |

WELCOME to the forum, txcrappieman
I haven't been doing much crappie fishing cause I got the catfish fever
However, I went to the last CAT (Crappie Anglers of Texas) meeting and have some DVD's about electronics, standing timber, and a MR CRAPPIE dvd that I've watched and plan to test in March with my son to see what I have learned from them.
You might check into CATs as they have some great tips as well as some fantastic meetings. |

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I saw on another forum that CAT was having a seminar in Addision. That's how I found out about it.
Here is the link to their website where you can find more info
