I have been trying to catch this huge carp that surfaces near my dock and mocks me. I really want to use him as bait but I can't seem to catch him. Is there somewhere in Rowlett to get buffalo fillets? I tried a few grocery stores but I couldn't find anything close and I don't want to drive a million miles. Embarassed There are zero shad near my dock, I have thrown the net until my arm fell off and not one. I do catch a lot of junk off the bottom though, old shoes, pieces of metal, old fishing gear. You could probably catch it with your cast net if there's not too much brush where you'd get snagged else you can catch carp with your fishing pole. I hear they put up a good fight.

Here's an article I saw a while back and I'm thinking about trying it soon, myself. Good lucK! There are some huge carp and buffalo in LRH Exclamation

Its pretty fun i have done it a few times. i would go to the chaha ramp and watch the fishermen catch the buffalo. They even gave their recipes for the dough bait they use. pretty simple to make. Them buffs are fun to catch, and really hard to land because of their soft mouths.
