Hi CH,
Sorry your disappointed with this forum. There's a few of us on here that try to liven it up.
I bank fish so don't know how much I can help you. If it rained recently, hit a creek channel or some other area where water is flowing into the lake and you'll probably find some.
Like the Lavon forum, folks will warm up to you more after you've been on a bit, posted, and they are familiar with you..
Good luck out there.. |

Yeah I am a bank fisher too, even though I have a boat. I hear hit the areas with the grass in the water but I haven't tried it myself yet. :/

Try the shallows 1.5-5' in the stumps. Stay only 30-45 minutes per spot if no bites.

We have been trying using the ramp on 66 just east of Dalrock and trying north from the ramp. We have been tempted to venture more into the stumpy areas there but with a fiberglass hull I am scared of hitting one just below the surface I cant see.

try hugging the bank once you get to the golf course and take it really slow. Once you get past that first small section of trees it is almost smooth sailing. I tried it out and i was putting along slowly and finally a bass boat passed me doing bout 70 so i followed him. that also how i found the mouth of the river. nothing to it but to try it.

Ha we did the same thing! Watched a bass boat pull through and then followed . We have been fishing off the banks by the golf course and are slowly heading more north from there.
