Up untill last month the only rods I have used in years were Allstar, Falcon lowriders and Castaways. I bought a cheap (under$25) Shakespear Synergy 7 foot im6 baitcasting rod. I may never buy a "Good" rod again. The only thing they doesnt stand up to the $$$ rods is the weight. Its a little heavy but for the price I am very impressed. Kind of strange to have a $120 reel on a $25 rod.
Anyone know of a low priced reel that will stand up to a Shimano Curado? |
