Rigged me up half a dozen jugs and did some jugging today on LRH for the first time. Did good on the blues. Came home with 8, the smallest was about 3lbs and the biggest was about 10lbs or so. Nothing really spectacular mind you, but a heck of a lot of fun.

Between soaks I did a little crappie fishing with live minnows, but I got skunked in that department. I have not caught even one crappie since I started fishing Hubbard this year.

The wife and I just finished eating a couple of the fish from today. Man, fresh catfish is the bomb!!!

If you guys see me out there tomorrow, be sure and say hello. I fish out of my 18' duck boat. It's camo with a ProDrive mud motor on the back. Can't miss me.

Were you juggin just on the north side of the west bridge over 30???

If so--I saw you working it---I was wondering how you did. We were tied up under the bridge near you.

I don't think that was me. I was fishing north of the west 66 bridge, and north of the Miller road bridge. My boat is built for duck hunting and the freeboard is not enough for me to venture out near either I-30 bridge unless it's a really calm day. My boat is very stout and built like a tank, and it handles the chop nicely. But it's a wet ride and it wouldn't take much to get myself into trouble out there.
