That is big. How much did it weigh in @. I have only caught 1 flatty and it was only a pound.

Caught it at about 9:30 p.m on an 8 inch live bull shad hooked through the tail area. We were tied up in about 4 ft of water. We didn't start catching anything until after 8 pm. I have caught big musky in the past up north and I thought they faught hard...not as much as this flathead did. I couldn't believe how much power it had...took at least 10 minutes to get it to the boat. After taking pictures we released it at the 66 boat ramp.

Weighed in at 48 lbs and was 45 inches in length. We were using a cheap 50 lb rapala scale...when we first weighed it the scale bottomed out and then the second time it came up as 48 lbs.
