Hey All, Did anyone do any good on the crappie at Hubbard this weekend? Where did you catch them other than in the mouth LOL. Were they deep or shallow? Did you do better on minners or jigs. I don't want any secret holes, just an give us some help on how the bite was. BASSHAWK

BassHawk I haven't fished Hubbard this year for crappie, I did spend the last 3 days on Lake Fork and it was tough to say the least with them releasing water too, between the rains, cold fronts, and plainly the real lack of ANY consistant weather other than crappy I would imagine Hubbard is the same. When Lavon's gates are open and Hubbard is releasing that =SUCK FISHING FOR NOW. I would still look North of 66, east side, and between 66 and 30 around mouths of coves, in coves, rip rap etc. Hot Blk/Hot Pink Blk/Chart Red/Wht.
Good Luck,
John

You know they have to spawn are they running later than usual this year? I've yet to hear any good news on Hubbard this year as far as the crappie spawn.
