Is there an active spawn in the shallows in the north part of the lake?

Yesterday, I was in fishing along the I30 bridge and only caught one. Once I got into 4-5 foot of water, I caught 4 in 20 minutes. I going to try the north part this week to see if I can catch females on the beds.

I don't know about that yesterday I caught nothing at hubbard. What was your secret to succes? I don't think the water temp was right cause of the cold rains and the cold nights. Give it a few days with the highs at night around mid fifties. And the fish should turn back on.

It seemed to turn on about 1 pm. I had to go, but I bet it was getting more active. I was using a tex rigged tiki stick. watermelon/red. I will try the shallows on the north end later this week.
